Energy is the most important element a human needs to survive their hectic life. Energies can affect an individual in various ways, either emotionally, physically or mentally. It is either through these energies present in oneself, that a body decides to function.

However, what can one do when they feel their energy is down? Causally steal energy from others.

Yes, you read that correctly. Energies can be stolen easily and in a toxic manner at the most. This mainly happens because we don’t know how to refill our energy healthily.

If you look into the healing arts and medicines from the East states according to the traditional Chinese drugs, there are 7 bodies within the real body and it loses its energy every day (talk about burnout), mainly because of the lifestyle and activities we follow.

We learn to steal energy from others from a very young age, starting with our parents. However, this stealing turns into a toxic abusive behavior, when it gets mastered.

There are different types of energy drainers or “vampires” such as The Victim, The Criticizer, The Manipulator, The Negative Thinker, The Blamer and many more.

Here are the top four energy vampires that one needs to stay away from.

The Intimidator

Just like the name suggests, it exactly does what it says. It intimidates. This type of “vampire” sucks energy off of people either through imposing fear or threatening verbally or physically, gradually causing abuse.

It is also noted that this type injects fear and this fear affects the primary outer body and organs such as the kidney where we store our vital energy.

For example, when you are with someone who you feel fear and the thought of hanging out with them seems energy draining. Then it happens because of the intimidator factor of energy draining.

The Interrogator

No one likes too many questions. However, the interrogator gets their energy through asking a ton of questions and criticizing others and their intentions. It is different for both children and adults.

In the case of kids, they use this technique due to their sheer curiosity and coming of age, but for adults, it is used out of excessive jealousy and ego problems.

The aloof person

Everyone loves attention, but what if it drains out others’ energy?

When it comes to the aloof type of energy drains, it mainly causes the person to be silent, by looking out of place and indifferent, mostly withdrawn and secretive.

These can also be classified as the dramatizers who intentionally or unintentionally create drama revolving around them.

Such toxic techniques drain the energy from others, resulting in worsened self-confidence, and anxiety as well as on the Spleen.

The aloof type often makes the other wonder and worry thus creating a feeling of guilt.

The Victim

As remarked in the earlier lines, the victim is the most commonly seen energy vampire. As the name suggests, the person will always be the victim.

The poor me personality always tends to take positive energies from others, making them feel mentally down. This personality or technique often vent about themselves making them the victim of every story. They always tend to stay at a perceived sight.

When studies identified these energy drainers, they summed up that, people develop relationships and interactions with these personalities, because of their untreated childhood abuse, therefore this isn’t the first time they have encountered a behavior pattern.

The book The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield explains the different mechanisms of energy stealing and how they are abusing our emotional spirit.
