A total of three movies were released in the theatres on Independence Day, August 15. The movies are John Abraham and Sharbari Wagh starrer ‘Veda’, Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu starrer ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Stree 2’. According to the box office report, ‘Stree 2’ is the most ahead of these three movies.
The film ‘Stree’ was released in 2018. This is its sequel. The film earned 76.5 million rupees on the first day of its release, setting a record of 100 crores on the second day. And on Saturday, the total income of the film at the Indian box office stood at 135 crore rupees and around 55 crore on Sunday. With this, the film’s total India box office collection has reached 190.55 crore.
