The 5th India-US Ministerial Dialogue which was hosted in Delhi further strengthens the agendas and goals set by the US President Joe Biden and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi during their meeting in June in White House.
The two nations will be focusing on better economic opportunities, collaborative community building and ensuring security of the region, as highlighted by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. The two nations will be focusing and promoting collaboration in every aspect.
The annual 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue started with discussion between the Defence ministry and the foreign ministry of both the countries, where they highlighted the fact that both the nations have to and will be working together in order to create a more resilient economy.

Central topic of discussion of the 2+2 India-US Ministerial Dialogue
Semiconductors and clean energy technology were in the central stage of discussion on collaboration between the two countries. US Secretary of State, Blinken mentions that collaboration of technology will further the advancement of cleaner and greener energy requirements between the two countries.
Several ministers who holds eminent positions in the cabinet were also the members of this 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue including Rajnath Singh, Defense Minister of India.
There were talks on people to people connect between the citizens of both the countries and aspires that in near future with more collaboration visa waiting time will be reduced and there will be educational opportunities that help the students of both the regions to study together, work together to mark collaborations to infinite possibilities.

S Jaishankar’s views on the Ministerial Dialogue
With India’s Minister of External Affairs, S Jaishankar‘s speech, he clearly led out this fact that PM Modi’s visit to the USA has initiated a new chapter in the relations of US and India.
He further added that the visit of President Biden in Delhi in September this year has helped us in ensuring a productive outcomes of G20 New Delhi summit and lays path for further positive collaboration on various matters as the two counties shares common global agendas and shares common understanding which will help the countries to partnership on various matters.
US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin highlighted the importance of the collaboration between the two largest democracies of the world and supported the fact that these annual 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue will definitely open the new horizon of cooperation between the two countries.
Ministers of both the countries extended their views that in this time where the world faces global challenges, it is very important to have a mutual understanding between the nations and should share common interests which further feeds the importance and possibilities of cooperation in future also, which will be beneficial for the entire international community to enhance peace and stability in the world.
It will be interesting to see how the ever changing international relations between the countries will lead the developments in this direction to ensure that the collaborative identity and cooperating mutual understanding prevails in the global relations. The collaborations between the two largest democracies will definitely open the path of development for the international community, having more assertive employment opportunities and economic cooperation, which will benefit the people in both the counties.
