National Film Awards 2023: President Droupadi Murmu will present the honors at the ceremony, which is taking place at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi. Several winners flew in from Mumbai and other places for the ceremony, which is attended by a host of celebrities.
This year’s 69th National Film Awards saw a number of films take home major prizes. Allu Arjun is the first Telugu actor to win a Best Actor award, while R Madhavan’s movie Rocketry: The Nambi Effect received the Best Feature Film prize this year. His performance in the movie Pushpa: The Rise earned him the honor. Alia Bhatt for Gangubai Kathiawadi and Kriti Sanon for Mimi are both winners in the category of Best Actress.
The Best Music Direction (Background Music) award went to Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani for RRR, which is another impressive victory. The film that broke all records also took home the prize for Best Popular Film Providing Filling Entertainment.When she was named the recipient of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Waheeda Rehman broke down in tears. The Kashmir Files won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Film on National Integration at the 69th National Film Awards.
