Fashion Technology Week 2023 is one of the major steps taken towards the growing technology and its uses in Fashion Industry. The growing technology and the ever-increasing world around us, everyone getting busier day by day, demanding new things every other day, in this world where everyone needs everything as fast as they can, AI becomes a part of everything, including the things one wears, when in the Spring-Summer 2023 collection of Coperni, Bella Hadid’s dress was spray painted on her by an artist, this changed the whole fashion industry, it took scientists 2 decades to innovate a spray paint that could do this. With this demanding society, tech needs to innovate and fulfill all the demands very well.

About Fashion Technology Week 2023:

Fashion Tech. Week (FTW), provides a platform for all the fashion technology providers to join hands with each other and discuss the innovations within the industry’s four key areas: manufacturing, marketing, retail, and wearable. This will help all the participants to not only showcase their talents and technologies to the fashion industry but also gain more knowledge regarding their profession. 

FTW 2023 is happening on 4 and 5th October 2023 at ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru. With this, it conceptualized Bengaluru as the first-ever global Fashion Tech Platform in India for the fast-growing India Manufacturing and Retail market. For the fashion tech to move forward the providers need to be up-to-date with the market and find out more ways to deliver more quickly.

AI shall be used to analyze the data and trends that can be identified from the social platforms to know what is the demand, also use AR/VR/3D for better visualization of the design, increasing the collaborative dynamics between the manufacturer and the brand. Along with this, tech-focused events such as conferences and fireside talks will be offered, addressing some of the biggest tech trends and themes in the fashion industry such as Smart Warehousing, On Demand Manufacturing, Metaverse, Unified Commerce, AR/VR, Smart Retailing, and many others.

The Fashion Technology Week 2023 will include Tech. panels, tech podium, and Masterclasses on it’s day one. Nishat Poddar, CMO, and Head – Retail Experience, WRONG, Sartaj Sing Mehta – Design and Product, Pepe Jeans London, Hemanth Mudadla, Country Logistics Director, DECATHLON India, and many more renowned personalities. 

In this Fashion Technology Week 2023, one of the discussion points of the panels is going to be how robots and humans will work together especially in labor-intensive countries, as most companies are using robots to ease their loads of sewing and embroidery operations. They will also talk about how AI has revolutionized the Fashion Industry. Participants will also learn about managing and maintaining data separately (online, and offline) as it’s difficult and time-consuming.  They’ll get to know more about how the technology will reshape Fashion’s Future. 

In the Fashion industry, Global AI is expected to grow from 228 million US dollars in 2019 to 1,260 million US dollars by 2024 at a 40.8 percent CAGR. This shows how important is it for the providers to learn and invest in the new technologies, that makes this Fashion Technology Week 2023 even more important for the field interested people to join.
