Uddhav Thackeray remarks on BJP and Mahadev betting app
On Monday, Uddhav Thackeray spoke over this matter and said that CM Baghel will get a ‘clean chit’ in this case if he joins BJP and all the legal cases against him will be resolved. CM Baghel reply to BJP
To revert back on the video shown by BJP, CM Bhupesh Baghel took to X, formerly known as Twitter to post that intentions of BJP are understandable of releasing this video at the times of the elections, only to get benefit from this by degrading their name in false controversy.
He said that he has neither ever seen Soni, the person in the video nor have not met him. He said that it is surprising for him that ED, who has been investigating this matter for two months now did not know about Soni and was calling him as manager just two days ago.
The central government has now issued illegal status to 22 betting platforms including Mahadev betting app on the ED’s request. ED also in his statement said that the app probe has revealed startling allegations in the case of paying 508 crore rupees to CM in this case and has said that this can be used as an important proof in the case and is a matter of investigation as of now.
Posting on X, CM on Sunday marked that, finally BJP has returned to their senses to by imposing a ban on the Mahadev app and said that he was the one who earlier had asked BJP to impose ban on such illegal betting apps and said the ruling party was not imposing bans in the greed of 28% GST over such betting platforms.
