A week ago, Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has already been taken into police custody in connection with the murder of Renkuswamy. Now, new revelations have emerged stating that his manager, Mr. Mallikarjun, has been missing for almost 8 years.
Malikaarjun is missing since 2016.He allies from the district of Gadag in Karnataka. He was not only the manager of actor Darshan ,he also positioned himself to be a producer and a film distributor. During his stint as a producer ,He faced financial disparities and other debts that he had to pay off. Actor Arjun Sarja lent him 1 crore rupees for a film distribution which he didnt pay back . Actor Arjun later filed a lawsuit against Malikarjun to return the lent money back .He also has reportedly stolen Rs 2 crore from Darshan.
Mallikarjun was one of the most trusted person to the actor Darshan. Thus he was assigned with several important responsibilities by Darshan. But allegedly his manager Malikarjun broke his trust putting the actor’s name to borrow money from people. Despite the ongoing police efforts, Mallikarjun’s whereabouts remain unknown, and he has not been located to appear in court. Given Darshan’s legal troubles, there is widespread speculation that Mallikarjun might have met a fate similar to that of Renuka Swamy.

Darshan Thoogudeepa’s present manager suicided
Sridar, the current manager of actor Darshan, ended his life on Tuesday at the actor’s farmhouse. In a suicide note and accompanying video, he expressed loneliness and depression as the reasons leading to his suicide. Police are investigating possible connections between Sridhar’s suicide and the ongoing murder case. Darshan, renowned as the ‘Challenging Star‘ in Kannada cinema, remains in custody while investigations into the murder of Renkuswamy continue .

Darshan keeping exotic birds illegally
Actor Darshan is now facing another allegation stating that he kept a bar-headed goose, an exotic bird, at his farmhouse in T Narsipura, Karnataka. This finding has been compounded to the actor’s legal issues subsequent to his recent arrest in connection with the death of his fan, Renukaswamy.
The forest department’s vigilance wing intends to file a chargesheet against Darshan for allegedly harboring scheduled birds protected under the Wildlife Protection Act. A raid conducted in January 2023 at Darshan’s farm in Kempaiahana Hundi led to the rescue of four bar-headed geese. Vijayalakshmi asserted that Nagaraj was solely responsible for the farm, whereas Nagaraj claimed the birds had arrived on their own and were being housed there without any intention to harm them.
Deputy Conservator of Forests B. Bhaskar reported that his team discovered a black swan, ostrich, emu, and other rare bird species at the farmhouse. They have requested documentation from the actor regarding permission obtained from authorities to keep these birds at his farmhouse.Ironically, Darshan serves as an ambassador for wildlife conservation and has also been nominated to the State Wildlife Board.
Renku’s murder and allegations against actor Darshan
Darshan Thoogudeepa, renowned in Kannada cinema as the “Challenging Star,” was arrested for his alleged involvement in the murder of his fan named Renukaswamy.He was apprehended by the police at his farmhouse in Mysore and subsequently charged with the murder. Alongside Thoogudeepa, twelve others, including his partner Pavitra Gowda, Pavan, Vinay, Pradosh, Nandeesha, Deepak, Lakshman, Nagaraju, Karthik, Nikhil, Keshav Murthy, and Raghavendra, were also arrested and remanded to police custody for seven days.
According to police sources, Renukaswamy, a loyal admirer of Darshan from Chitradurga, Karnataka, was employed at a pharmacy. Reportedly distressed by the actor’s separation from his wife Vijaylakshmi, purportedly linked to his involvement with Pavitra Gowda, the fan allegedly began sending derogatory messages against Pavitra Gowda to damage her reputation.
