Another Congress MP, Jairam Ramesh, pointed out that there have been 11 terror attacks in Jammu alone in the last 78 days, a “wholly new development,” and questioned the government’s claims about its handling of the situation.
The Doda encounter resulted in the deaths of four Army personnel, including an officer. The Indian Army chief, General Upendra Dwivedi, briefed the Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh, on the incident.
