Director Kabir Khan on Kartik Aryan:

Previously, Kabir posted the movie’s poster and stated that Karthik’s journey to become this champion is just as inspirational as the story of the ‘Chandu Champion,’ which is a truly inspirational true story. Kartik was gaining weight for a role when kabir met him. His body fat percentage was 39%.

He told Kabir that he had to play a multi-sport athlete who was competing on a global scale. he merely grinned and said yes. They took this picture for trailer on set one year and a half later, he decreased the body fat to 7 percent , making kabir proud.
