After several days of negotiation talks and meetings, finally, on Thursday, news came out that the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress Alliance is almost in the final stage. According to the top sources, both parties agreed on a formula of 4:3, which means 4 seats, namely in New Delhi and West Delhi. South Delhi and North West Delhi will be contested by the Aam Aadmi Party,
And the remaining 3 seats of East Delhi, North East Delhi, and Chandni Chowk will be contested by the Congress Party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Though these are mere speculations and the official announcement is yet to be made by both parties, it is expected to be done in a day or two in a joint press conference.

Congress-AAP deadlock in Punjab
AAP is also a constituent party of the India bloc, and there were several discrepancies between the Congress and AAP on seat sharing in the state of Punjab. Haryana, Delhi, and Gujarat, but as of now, what the sources are telling is that both parties agreed on seat sharing for the states of Delhi, Gujarat, and Goa, but still, the consensus could not be reached for Punjab.
The Aam Aadmi party is in power in Punjab, and his main opponent is the Congress Party. The BJP has a very negligible presence in the state. In such a situation, it’s become more difficult to adjust to seat sharing because the state units of both parties are constantly opposing any sought of alliance; even the Aam Aadmi Party has announced that it will go all alone on 13 Lok Sabha seats of Punjab.
What was the given take?
The Aam Aadmi Party has decided to give Chandigarh and South Goa seats to the Congress Party and, in return, got two seats of Bharuch and Bhavnagar in Gujarat. Bharuch is the bastion of the late veteran Congress leader Ahmed Patel, who was the political secretary of then the Congress President Sonia Gandhi. From this seat, Ahmed Patel’s daughter, Mumtaz Patel, was trying for a Congress ticket, and she has also started preparing for the Lok Sabha, but in the negotiation as per the sources , this seat went to the AAP quota. According to the experts, Mumtaz Patel may had more chance of winning the seat as compared to the Aam Aadmi Party.
What was the scenario in 2019?
In the 2019 general election, all seven seats in Delhi were won by Bharatiya Janata Party candidates. From Chandni Chowk constituency, Dr. Harshvardhan, the former Union Minister, won; from North East Delhi, BJP’s Manoj Tiwari won the popular election against the former Chief Minister of Delhi, Sheila Dikshit; and in East Delhi, popular cricketer Gautam Gambhir won the election on the BJP’s ticket. From the New Delhi seat, Meenakshi Lekhi won the election against Ajay Makhan, the treasurer of the Congress Party. From south Delhi, west Delhi, and northwest Delhi, Ramesh Bidhuri, Parvesh Verma, and Hansraj Hans won the elections, respectively, as BJP candidates.so it was 7-0 score in 2019, will the Congress- AAP be able to revert this tally?
Allegations of the Aam Adami Party
Aam Aadami party leader Atishi on thursday alleged that the party leaders are getting messages from BJP to avoid a possible alliance with the Congress Party to secure their leader, Arvind Kejriwal, from getting arrested by the enforcement directorate. She also said that if the AAP alliances with the Congress, then the Chief Minister of Delhi and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal will get arrested in the next 3 to 4 days. Atishi claims that the CBI will issue a notice to the chief minister on Saturday or Sunday, and then he will be arrested. How far these Allegations are true will be seen in next few days.
