According to reports, the girlfriend of prominent Kannada cinema star Darshan Thoogudeepa has admitted to beating Renukaswamy, the murder victim. Darshan and Pavithra Gowda are charged with kidnapping and murdering actor Renukaswamy’s ardent fan earlier in June.
Along with several other offenders who were allegedly engaged in the horrifying murder, the two were taken into custody. For those who don’t know, early this month Renukaswamy, a Chitardurga guy and a Darshan fan, was reportedly kidnapped and taken to Bengaluru.
According to The News Minute, Darshan and his 15 accomplices allegedly kept the victim in a shed and tortured him mercilessly till he died. They then left the site of the murder. Keval Ram Dorji, a security guard at Anugraha Apartment, found the corpse. He discovered the victim next to the Kamakshipalya apartment building by the sewer.
The Times of India is among the stories that the victim sent pornographic texts to Darshan’s purported girlfriend, Pavithra Gowda, however the motivation for the act remains unknown.

The victim’s kidnapping and murder were reportedly planned by the two and fourteen other people.
According to reports, Pavithra Gowda admitted to assaulting the victim to the authorities, claiming that she was the one who attacked the victim with her shoes initially.
As per the confession of the accused suspects, Pavithra was the first to hit Renukaswamy with her footwear before others brutalized him at a seized-vehicle parking yard in Pattanagere, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, where he was held prisoner on June 8, police claimed, according to the Times of India. Pavan, Vinay, Pradosh, Nandeesha, Deepak, Lakshman, Nagaraju, Karthik, Nikhil, Raghavendra, Anu Kumar, Jagadish, and Ravi are the accomplices’ names.
The automobile of taxi driver Ravi Shankar, according to the authorities, was reportedly involved in the kidnapping. Evidence was also taken from the homes of Vinay, Deepak, Arun, and Raghavendra by law enforcement.
