47-year-old actor Shreyas Talpade suffered a massive heart attack and underwent an angioplasty at the private Hospital in West Andheri, Mumbai.
Actor Shreyas Talpade; Updated his Condition
On Thursday evening 15th December, during a shoot in Mumbai actor Shreyas suffered from a heart attack and was sent to the Bellevue Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai. The hospital informed that the actor underwent angioplasty around 10 pm. The surgery was successful and the actor is recovering, informed by Asian News International (ANI).
Shreyas reported feeling unwell after the ‘Welcome to Jungle’ shooting on Thursday evening. He shot all day, was perfectly healthy and had fun with everyone on the set. He also shoot several action scenes. After a while, he lost consciousness. He already told his wife Deepti Talpade that he is feeling indisposed. Shreyas suffered a heart attack on the way Deepti brought him to the hospital. The hospital authorities said he is doing well and his condition is better after the angioplasty.

Shreyas Talpade is an Indian actor, film director and producer who is a known face in Hindi and Marathi cinema. He has acted in more than 45 films in his two-decade career.
At the beginning of his acting career, Shreyas Talpade performed stage acts throughout Maharashtra and appeared in Marathi soap operas. In the 1998 Zee TV soap opera, he played the lead role. Additionally, he also serves the short films of the Adhikari Brothers company. in the top-rated Marathi television series Damini, he played the lead role.
He gained popularity for his portrayal of a specially-abled athlete Iqbal in 2005 starring with Naseeruddin Shah. Shreyas Talpade earlier rose to fame through Marathi TV shows and dramas. He acted in several box-office hits including Om Shanti Om, Golmaal Returns, Paying Guests, Golmaal 3, Joker, Poster Boys, De Dana Dan, Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal and Housefull 2.
The shooting of his upcoming film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ was going on in Mumbai. Apart from Shreyas, the film also stars Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Sunil Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Tushar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Kiku Sharda, Krishna Abhishek, Rahul Dev and Mika Singh will be seen. Shreyas Talpade also will be seen in an important role in Kangana Ranaut starred ‘Emergency’.

Shreyas has not crossed 50 yet. He is currently 47 years old. However, a recent case shows that people of any age are affected by heart disease. Legendary singer KK, Krishna kumar Kunnath, who experienced a heart attack during his live show on May 31, 2022. In his live performance in Kolkata, he became unwell and collapsed by a massive heart attack, the authorities are also blamed for this.
In 36 years, Saif Ali Khan also experienced Heart attack. In the year 2020, Remo D’Souza also suffered from a heart attack at the age of 45. Raju Shrivastava was a well-known comedian who passed away on 20th August, 2022 due to heart attack. Legendary singer KK, Krishna kumar Kunnath, who experienced a heart attack during his live show on May 31, 2022. Pageant Sushmita sen also suffered from a heart attack and angioplasty.
Although Shreyas is totally fine and discharged within two or three days, still he needs time for his next shooting.
