”Three days after his handgun accidently went off”- Govinda

Three days after his handgun accidently went off, actor Govinda was released from the hospital on Friday, providing much-needed clarification on the events that transpired. “Voh giri aur chal padi,” he laughed. He was going to leave for the airport when the accident occurred early on Tuesday morning, and he had surgery that same day.

The actor, sixty years old, who is well-known for roles in movies like “Love 86,” “Swarg,” “Dulhe Raja,” and “Partner,” returned to the public eye. He left the Criticare hospital in Juhu in a wheelchair with his left leg in a cast. The actor was accompanied by his wife Sunita Ahuja and daughter Tina Ahuja. The actor is a member of the Shiv Sena, which is led by Eknath Shinde. He welcomed media persons and fans with folded hands. “I was going to depart for a performance in Kolkata. About five o’clock in the morning. It just collapsed and went off, but at the same time we were girdling and chal padi. I was startled by what had transpired and gasped as I noticed a blood fountain below. Then, as reporters waited outside his house, I shot a video, talked to the doctor, and was admitted,” he said. “When you have fame, you have to be cautious as there are people who love you and then there are those who envy you,” he responded when asked why a fun-loving actor like him has a revolver.

The actor, who considers himself to be a laid-back and enjoyable person, expressed hope that his fans will take note of this and be cautious because anything can happen to anyone. Govinda, who gained popularity for his comedic timing and dance prowess in movies from the late 1980s and early 1990s, expressed gratitude to his supporters, Maharashtra Chief Minister Shinde, and other dignitaries for their kind words.

Reporters were briefed earlier in the morning by Sunita Ahuja that her husband had been recommended to take a break for at least six weeks. “He is OK and will resume dancing again in a few days. We have the blessings of Mata Rani and everyone has prayed for him,” she remarked.

The Mumbai crime branch has opened a second inquiry into the event in addition to the local police’s ongoing investigation. As per the police, no complaints have been made over the matter thus far. The actor received eight to ten stitches after the bullet struck him below the left knee, according to Dr. Ramesh Agarwal, who treated him following the incident.
