Amul Milk Price Rises: Post-Election Concerns

The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation( GCMMF), which markets milk and milk products under the brand name of Amul, enhancing fresh milk price by ₹ 2 a litre from June 3, 2024 in all requests across the country. Consumer responses

Impact on Prices

With the modification, Amul buffalo milk will bring ₹ 73 a litre, while cow milk will bring ₹ 58 a litre. It’s noteworthy that Amul has not increased the prices of fresh milk sacks in major requests since February 2023, pressing their sweats to maintain stable prices for consumers.
