Table of Contents
This is the time to blow the whistle, where all qualified Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football teams (CONMEBOL) and South American Football Confederation (CONCACAF) teams stay on the battlefield dreaming of the 2024 Copa America title organised by South America’s football ruling body CONMEBOL. The tournament will take place in the United States. It will be held from June 20 to July 14, 2024, with the opening match of the defending champion Argentina versus Canada, which will be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
A total of 16 teams compete in a total of 32 matches across 14 venues in the USA. Each team will play the other three sides in their group once in a single round-robin format according to the Copa America 2024 schedule. The top two teams from each group will enter the quarter-finals. The knockout stage also consists of the semi-finals and the final. The most awaited final will be held at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The winners will later compete in the 2025 CONMEBOL–UEFA Cup of Champions against the UEFA Euro 2024 winner. Before the tournament, most of the teams announced their squad and started practice Sessions.
