Justin Bieber has been spotted in Mumbai to perform in the wedding festivities of Anant and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. A video of the singer has gone viral on the internet wherein his car can be seen with high security. As per a report in a Portuguese portal LeoDias, Justin is being paid $10 million by the Ambani’s for his performance in the wedding.
Karan Aujla and Badshah to perform at the Sangeet Ceremony
According to latest reports, with Justin Bieber , Karan Aujla and Badshah will be also performing at the musical evening, They are considered as the two of the most popular Punjabi singers. Adele, Lana Del Ray and Drake are also in talks to grace the stage with their performances. Furthermore, Bruno Mars is also set to perform at the gala evening of the Wedding.
Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s Wedding Festivities
On Wednesday, their family organised an extravagant Mameru ceremony. Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, with mother Purnima Dalal, Akash Ambani, Shloka Ambani, Isha Ambani with husband Anand Pirmal and the couple were seen attending the ceremony with other celebrities like Jhanvi Kapoor, Shikhar Pahadiya, Manushi Chillar. Meezan Jaaferi, son of famous Bollywood actor Javed Jaaferi, also attended the ceremony at Antilla.
A Mameru ceremony is a Gujarati custom where the maternal uncle (mama) of the bride visits her with sweets and gifts to bless the couple. These events serve to emphasize the significance of the larger part of the family and provide a chance for them to gather together and celebrate.
As per the videos seen on social media, the Ambani house was all decked up with red, pink and orange flowers and golden lights placed throughout Antilla. A huge Digital screen was also seen with Anant and Radhika’s pictures and “All the best” written on it.
The Wedding Plans
A major highlight of the wedding includes a chaat stall from the famous Kashi Chaat Bhandar in Varanasi. Nita Ambani went to Varanasi last month in order to seek blessings at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and personally invited the shop owner, Rakesh Keshari for the wedding. The Ambani’s also planned a mass wedding for the underprivileged people on July 2 at the Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in Palghar.
Anant and Radhika’s wedding timeline
The Invitation of the grand wedding was also seen circulating on social media recently, offering a glimpse of the preparations taking place for the event. The main ceremonies will commence with the wedding function and according to reports the guests have been encouraged to dress up in traditional Indian attire to embrace the occasion. The celebrations will continue on July 13, with Shubh Aashirwad and the final event, Mangal Utsav (wedding reception) has been scheduled for July 14, Sunday.
