On June 12, N. Chandrababu Naidu is finally scheduled to take the oath of office as chief minister, having won the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections.
On June 12, TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu will take the oath of office as Andhra Pradesh’s chief minister for the third time, according to party sources on Friday. At Kesarapalli IT Park, which is close to the Gannavaram airport, Naidu will take the oath of office.
The ceremony, which had been slated for June 9, is probably going to be rescheduled so that Naidu may attend the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi, who will become prime minister for a third term one day early. Per the report, Naidu plans to take his oath in Amaravati, the site of his dream capital project that the YSRCP government put on hold.
The sources said that Chandrababu Naidu will take the oath of office as chief minister at Kesarapalli IT Park, which is close to Gannavaram airport, on June 12 (Wednesday), at 11:27 a.m. About thirty years ago, in 1995, Naidu was elected chief minister for the first time. He ruled till 2004, when the late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy took over.
In 2014, following ten years and the division of the union into Telangana and the remaining portion of Andhra Pradesh, Naidu became the first chief minister of the newly created state.
YSRCP leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy succeeded him as chief minister after he lost the 2019 elections. After a five-year break, he will assume the role once more as chief minister.
On Friday, June 7, 2024, Chandrababu Naidu addressed the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting at Samvidhan Sadan in New Delhi.
