 Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor recently deleted his Instagram posts leaving fans speculating any announcement regarding Mr. India 2.

Bollywood sensation Anil Kapoor recently left his fandom surprised as he suddenly deleted all his Instagram posts and profile picture on Friday, October 20. The actor who is quite active on the social media platform often treats his fans with fresh updates from his personal life. He also shares updates regarding his work on Instagram. The actor’s Instagram boasts 5.8 million followers.

Anil has left all the fans and even his actress-daughter Sonam Kapoor in shock with his recent move. Netizens were quick to react to the sudden cleansing of Anil’s Instagram handle. Some looked visibly excited as they speculated a major announcement or update coming up. While others joked about the matter and called Anil the real ‘Mr. India’. Few even wonder whether his Instagram account has been hacked.

The actor, who will be next seen in Animal has left everyone confused by deleting all his Instagram posts and display picture. While at first, it appeared as a promotional stunt for his upcoming movie starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, but later a source told News 18 exclusively that the move has a Mr. India 2 connection.

Despite the not-so-Jhakaas activity, Anil Kapoor’s followers and following numbers remain intact.

Boney Kapoor on Anil Kapoor deleting his Instagram posts

Director and Anil Kapoor’s elder brother Boney Kapoor has recently reacted to the ongoing drama over the internet. In a recent interview with News18, Boney Kapoor has reacted to Anil Kapoor deleting all his Instagram posts.

“Anil Kapoor has gone ‘invisible’ on social media as a point to kick off Mr. India 2. Like his character in the film Mr India (1987), he is going invisible on social media,” a source has told News18.

When Boney Kapoor was reached to comment about the ongoing matter, he said that he has yet to see Anil Kapoor’s profile and refused to comment on anything regarding Mr. India 2 until everything falls in place. Boney Kapoor later added, “Let me see, I haven’t seen it myself, But he did mention to me that he wants to show me something.” He further said that he would only be able to comment about the movie “until everything matures.” Boney had earlier said that he wants to start working on the sequel to the hit film Mr. India which starred Anil Kapoor and Sridevi.

However, it is not yet confirmed why the actor has deleted all his posts, In fact, his daughter Sonam Kapoor was also shocked to see all the posts missing from his feed.

Just like the fans, the actress seemed clueless and reacted to the same and wrote, “Dad??!!

Anil Kapoor’s work front

Anil will next be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vangas’s Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. Anil Kapoor plays Ranbir Kapoor’s father in the film. The film was earlier scheduled to be released on August 11, clashing with OMG 2 and Gadar 2 but later the makers decided to push the release date to December 1.
Anil will also be seen in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
