Quality vs Quantity:
Some critics argue that in his time to release multitudinous films each year, the quality of some projects may suffer. Not all his films are critically accredited.
Several of his recent films have received mixed to negative reviews from critics.
“Laxmii” and “Bachchan Pandey” were not well-received, with criticisms focusing on weak scripts and lackluster direction. These films failed to impress both critics and audiences, impacting Kumar’s reputation for quality.
Changing Audience Preferences
The tastes of the movie-going followership are evolving, with a growing preference for content-driven cinema and innovative storytelling. Akshay Kumar’s traditional marketable formulas sometimes seem out of sync with these changing preferences, leading to a dissociation.
While comparing Sarfira with other recently released films, we predict the movie to experience loss. In Spite of the positive reviews, the film is failing to raise the bookings. Such a start will be disappointing, especially with a superstar in this film.
