The new Apple iPhones are all set to enter the market on Friday, September 20 from 5:30 pm, while pre-booking began on September 13. The series was launched at Apple’s Glow Time event during the start of this month and includes four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 Plus. All four lineups will be available for purchase at Apple BKC in Mumbai and Apple Saket in New Delhi, along with online stores and the company’s authorized sellers.
Trade analysts have announced that Apple has seen a rapid increase in demands of preorders for its latest iPhone 16 model and is all set to break last export records with its new ‘Make in India‘ devices. This year will result in more upgrades for the tech company in India as the iPhone 16 devices are being manufactured and launched in the country itself, along with its availability in the global market. This is with respect to the government’s schemes, such as the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme to encourage local manufacturing and global exports.
iPhone 16 price ranges from Rs 79,900 to Rs 1,84,900 according to the model and three memory configurations—128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Consumers will be able to choose from five colors—ultramarine, teal, pink, white, and black. The all-new series offers many new features, such as a better camera and more customization with reduced paperwork this year. The deal also comes with company’s Trade-in programs and many additional offers.
Apple revenues in India are expected to grow in 2024 by 18 percent (year-on-year), and the latest advanced features of the iPhone 16 series targeting more customers further align with the company’s goals to establish its presence in the country, along with boosting its export figures.
