The Yaariyan actress and her actor/producer beau have been together for three years now, and rumours around their alleged wedding have been circulating the rumour mill these past few weeks. Apparently, the couple is set to tie the knot, this year in February in an intimate and low-key setting.
The rumours are that the wedding will take place on the 22nd of February in Goa, surrounded by the pair’s closest friends and family. Sources say that the pair is currently in Bangkok, Thailand where Bhagnani is allegedly at his bachelor party and Rakul too is in Thailand taking a break, the pair are very excited yet keeping things low-key as the wedding is to be an intimate event. The source adds that the couple is enjoying these few weeks of break before the wedding festivities begin and keep the two busy.
The couple is known for their cheesy romance, and never shies away from supporting and appreciating each other recently Rakul Preet penned down a lovely birthday message for her boyfriend, the message read “Happy Birthday my ❤️ on this birthday and every day I wish you receive abundance of all that you desire.”
The actress, in an old interview, shared the story of how the couple met and fell in love, explaining she said they were neighbours for the longest time but due to their busy schedules never had the time to catch up with each other during the covid lockdown they could finally sit and chat. After hanging out together with their friends they eventually started dating. The actress commented, “We started hanging out with friends until eventually it grew into comfort.” The pair debuted their relationship when they became Instagram official on Rakul’s birthday in October of 2021 when Bhagnani posted a picture with his lady love where the pair was spotted holding hands the duo has made many rounds together at various red carpets and award show events.
Rakul Preet Singh predominantly works in the South and Hindi film industry, mainly Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. The film is a sequel to its first part which was released in 1996, starring Kamal Hassan as the main lead, as a freedom fighter who waged a war against corruption.
