Ahead of his surrender Kejriwal hosted a meeting on June 1 at his residence and insisted the AAP members to maintain unity among leaders in his absence as per the reports of PTI.

Kejriwal applied for a seven day extension of the interim bail in Supreme Court on medical grounds as he said that he is losing weight and has high ketone levels and his health deteriorated during his time in Tihar Jail. But SC refused the urgent listing of his plea.
