Atishi To Be the New CM After Kejriwal’s Resignation: Youngest Women CM Of Delhi

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief declared Atishi as the new chief minister of Delhi on Tuesday, September 17, and now she is the youngest women CM of Delhi ever.

After Arvind Kejriwal’s declaration of resignation, the prospects for new CM were being examined by the legislators of AAP, and after seeing the reports and doing the after math, Atishi was declared as the new CM face of Delhi, the legislators reported that she did all the public facing work and performed all the necessary duties while Kejriwal was in the jail due to the charges on him by ED.

Atishi, who was in education, finance, policy making, law etc. departments will now be the third woman to hold the position of Delhi’s Chief Minister.

Today, in the afternoon, Arvind Kejriwal meets Lieutenant Governor, V.K. Saxena today afternoon and submitted his resignation letter, he declared his resignation within 48 hours on Sunday and hence to make his plans meet his actions he did so, whereas CM Atishi submits a letter to request MLA support for the formation of new government.

Due to the six months long imprisonment of Arvind Kejriwal, the functioning of AAP government in Delhi has been affected adversely, and hence the new face has a load to smooth down the functioning and update all the pending projects.

Why now and not 5 months ago

The main question, which is very important to be answered remains unanswered, though many opposition leaders have their own theories and set of answers for the same.

BJP MP, Manoj Tiwari says that this thing can be done before 5 months only, but this is done now, as Kejriwal was left with no other option now, and hence he made Atishi the new face for CM, according to him this action showcased that only one thing is important for Kejriwal and that is his ego.
