Barcelona loan player Joao Cancelo has been targeted by Al Hilal, after an uncertain future at stake and as Barcelona is unable to offer a complete deal with fee because of financial irregularities.  Al Hilal has set their eyes on Cancelo, who are ready to offer a three year contract of €15 million per year. The Saudi League club initially set to rope three players, that included Walker, Cancelo and Jeremie Frimpong. Following the departure of Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes to Ferrari at the end of 2024, questions were raised at Pete Bonnington Hamilton’s engineer transfer too. Bonnington would stay back as he would become head of race engineering at Mercedes, a promotion from his current post as a race engineer. Chess star D Gukesh plays out a draw against reigning World Champion Ding Liren in the first round of Sinquefield Cup at St. Louis. This match was a prelude to the upcoming World Chess Championship 2024. It marks the first and last classical match between Gukesh and Liren after the teenager’s victory in the Candidate Tournament in April. Manchester City won their first match of the Premier League with 2-0 against Chelsea at their home ground, Stamford Bridge. Mikel Merino, the midfielder has attracted Arsenal and the team is likely to sign him. The negotiation of the transfer deal is still going on, till the end of the window.
