In an unfortunate turn of events, a ferry en route to Elephanta Island, near the Gateway of India, Mumbai, carrying over 100 passengers, capsized. 13 people have died so far. The Indian Navy and Coast Guard are engaged in rescue operations. Further, four helicopters are deployed for search and rescue (SAR) operations to rescue the remaining passengers.
