Ranveer Allahbadia’s 7M+ Beer Biceps YouTube channel hacked, all content deleted

On Wednesday night, famous YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia learned of a meaningful hack occurrence moving two of his YouTube channels. The attackers accepted control of his Beer Biceps channel, renaming it to “Tesla” and changing its handle to “@Elon.trump.tesla_live2024.” Additionally, his private channel was renamed to “@Tesla.occurrence.trump_2024.”

He started his content creation journey at 22, accompanying his first YouTube channel, BeerBiceps. Today, he controls about seven YouTube channels, amassing a linked following of nearly 12 million subscribers.

In an outrageous incident, hackers removed all existent interviews and podcasts from the two channels. They dismissed the content accompanying earlier streams from occurrences starring important figures like Elon Musk and Donald Trump. This cyber attack trails a current hack occurrence, including the Supreme Court of India‘s YouTube channel, raising concerns over the safety of important reports.

This breach follows a common trend of scammers hacking popular YouTube accounts to promote cryptocurrency schemes. According to reports, hackers have previously impersonated Ripple’s CEO Brad Garlinghouse to deceive users into participating in fraudulent XRP reward schemes.

The Supreme Court of India’s official YouTube channel appears to have been hacked, with users reporting that the channel is currently displaying videos promoting XRP, a cryptocurrency developed by Ripple Labs. As of Friday morning, attempts to access the channel have been met with ads and videos unrelated to the court’s official content.

A senior Supreme Court official mentioned that the breach was detected early Friday morning, and the matter has been escalated to the National Informatics Centre (NIC) for resolution. “It appears the channel has been compromised,” the official told The Indian Express, but details about the incident remain unclear.

A massive hacking at one of India’s largest health insurers, Star Health, has exposed the private details of over 31 million customers. The stolen data, including sensitive medical reports, has been made publicly accessible through chatbots on the messaging app, Telegram. According to a report by the news agency Reuters, the data of the insurer’s customers is available for free via chatbots on Telegram, the founder of which was recently arrested for allegedly allowing the platform to be used for criminal activities.

Many popular YouTubers have faced similar hacking incidents in the recent past, with them eventually getting back their original account with everything from subscribers to videos all-restored.

The hackers are working a livestream recommending an AI-generated avatar of Elon Musk to lure gullible viewers into a cryptocurrency scam. The AI representation supported witnesses to purchase cryptocurrency, deceitfully hopeful of doubling their returns if they located Bitcoin or Ethereum on a doubtful site, elonweb.net. This plan is famous as a “Bitcoin Growing” swindle and is a low method secondhand in cyberattacks that target outstanding YouTube reports.

Following the occurrence, YouTube detached both of Allahbadia’s channels from its platform. Users immediately encounter a message declaring, “This page isn’t available. Sorry about that. Try searching for something else.

“Hours after the bad occurrence, Ranveer posted a story on his Instagram handle, @beerbiceps. With an exact likeness meal, Ranveer addressed, “Celebrating my two main channels being hacked with my favourite food. Vegan burgers. Death of Beer Biceps met with Death of diet.”

The YouTuber was in Singapore when the incident took place but clarified that he is back in Mumbai. In the second story, which is a selfie of him wearing  an eye mask, he questioned, “Is this the end of my YouTube career? Was nice knowing you all.”
