Bengaluru 18-year-old second PU student was detained by city police for sharing AI-morphed naked pictures of a 9th class female. The juvenile board took two other boys in custody who were a part of this. The trio were charged under IT and Pocso Acts.
Police Officer said that the 18-year-old was identified as Jeevan Kumar from Bagalur, is said to have altered the girl’s photo using Al to produce the nude pictures. Two young boys, in class 9, attend the same school as the girl, and they shared the images which were morphed on social media platforms like Instagram. Two of the boys attend courses only on weekends as part of the National Institute of Open School, which has the school as its center. The other boy is a normal student.

The officer said that the boy who was of the same class as the girl, and he started to get upset as she was distancing herself from him. Minors later shared the girl’s picture with the college student, who morphed it using AI.
On Tuesday, the police said that they had taken into custody three individuals, two of whom were children, for allegedly posting altered images of a youngster on social media.
According to a police officer, the girl’s parents complained on May 27 that her altered photos had been posted on a phony Instagram account, which prompted the arrest. Three cell phones have been seized by the police. The Juvenile Justice Board saw the kids in person
“The Cyber Crime Cell of Bengaluru North has received a complaint from the parents of a class 9 student at a renowned CBSE school. The complaint states that their teenage daughter and at least one other student’s AI-generated nude photos have been uploaded online. On the 24th of this month, distorted pictures of the 15-year-old females initially appeared on the school’s unofficial Instagram page, which has more than 50 members”.
The girl’s parents believe that those responsible for this act took screenshots of her face off of her Instagram profile, used and AI to create naked pictures, and then used a fictitious ID to post them on the group. Additionally, since the girl had a private account and the group on Instagram was closed, they think it may be someone they know.
The parents have received assurances from the school that an internal inquiry will take place, even as the cyber cell has begun to locate the IP address.
It is believed that the victim’s classmate executed this crime when classes were not in session for summer vacation. The school has called the parents of the girl and the parent of the student who executed this.
The students and their parents were called to the school on Monday. Later in the evening, an Fir was registered in the North-Eastern police station based on the complaint filed by the girl’s mother. The three kids and their parents arrived at school once again on Tuesday moring for a counseling session. From there police took away them for an interrogation.

After the investigation, it was revealed that the boy and the girl were close initially, but later the girl was irritated by his actions and started avoiding him. And he got upset about this and to get back at her, did this heinous act.
The boys spoke about this and the 18 year old boy Jeevan asked to provide pictures of the girl, he morphed it as nude pictures and shared them on social media, a senior officer said.
