Trailer of the film to release on this date
Varun Dhawan and family will launch the trailer of Binny and Family on August 30 at an event in Mumbai. Helmed by Ssanjay Tripaathy under Mahaveer Jain Films and WaveBand productions, Binny and Family is an upcoming family drama film, slated to release on September 20 this year. The film is presented by Balaji Telefilms in association with Shashank Khaitan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba.
Balaji Motion Pictures and Mahaveer Jain films took to their social media handle to announce the trailer’s release date.
The Cast
Alongside Anjini Dhawan, the film stars veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, who is well-known for his roles in “Halla Bol” (2008), Vishal Bhardwaj’s “Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola” (2013) and many others.
Binny and Family also features Himani Shivpuri, Rajesh Kumar and Charu Shankar.

Earlier, the film was slated to hit theaters on August 30, 2024, but got delayed as the film got positive responses at test screenings. So, the makers collectively took the decision to postpone the film and analyzed the best release period for the film’s release.
On July 29 this year, Balaji Motion Pictures took to their social media to release the first look of Binny and Family via a poster of the film. The caption of the post read, “Purane zamaane ke sanskaar vs aajkal ke modern vichaar! Complications se bhari family hai Binny ki, par ye kahani hai hum sab ki.”
Anjini Dhawan is likely to be in the titular role of Binny. Binny and Family will be portraying intergenerational relationships. The story of the film is expected to revolve around a typical family with varying thoughts.
