BJP State Election Committee holds strategy meeting for Haryana Assembly elections scheduled on 1 October

The two-day meeting of the BJP State Election Committee which began in Gurugram focused on preparations for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections.  The meeting lasted about four hours  on the first day and will continue on in next meeting .  The discussion was mainly  about  finalizing the candidates for the  five constituencies and how to properly transfer the benefits of the welfare policy of  the BJP  government  during the election campaign.
According to a party source,  on the first day of the meeting, the officials of the five districts gave  information about the current situation in their respective constituencies .Friday’s news  will  discuss the political situation in the remaining districts.

A large part of the conference was devoted to the BJP’s welfare policies and strategies to ensure their  popularity during the campaign.

Prominent leaders who attended the meeting included Haryana  Assembly Election Officer  Dharmendra  Pradhan,  Union Minister and BJP, Former Congressman Manohar Lal,  Vice  President Biplab Kumar Deb, National Vice President Savdan Singh  and Chairman  Kuldeep  Bishnavi ,Minister of State Imprakash  Dankhar, Administration  was also present. Minister  Phanendra Nath Sharma, State President Mohnal Badoli, External Affairs Minister Krishna Pal Gurjar and other senior leaders  including Rao Inderjit Singh, Sudha Yadav, Gian Chand Gupta, Anil Vij. Dharmvir Singh, Captain  Abhimanyu  and Sunita Dougal.

At this meeting, the importance of selecting candidates with the potential to win was  emphasized . Senior officials  assured local and state officials that only winning candidates would get tickets.  When the party was preparing  for the election,  the views  of the ruling party were also considered.

BJP is gearing up for state elections in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir

The Election Commission’s announcement marks the first major electoral battle since the Lok Sabha elections. The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections are particularly important as they follow the revocation of the region’s special status and are the first elections in the state in a decade. The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections will be held in three phases starting  from September 18.The Haryana Assembly elections are scheduled for October 1 and the results are expected to be declared on October 4.

The BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) is scheduled to convene the Central Election Committee meeting on August 25, 2024, at the BJP headquarters in Delhi. According to sources, “at the meeting  of the  CEC, the names of the candidates will be discussed and finalized. State presidents, electoral  officials  and members of the major groups of the two states are expected. “The party is doing everything  it can to  meet the challenge of a resurgent Congress that has tied up with the national conference,  especially in the  Jammu region, a stronghold of the BJP since 2014”.
