In relation to the purported sale of counterfeit tickets for Coldplay’s performance, online ticket aggregator BookMyShow has filed a police complaint.

According to a release, BookMyShow has no affiliation with third-party individuals or any ticket-selling or reselling platforms like Gigsberg and Viagogo with regards to reselling Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour 2025 in India.
In India, scaling is illegal and firmly forbidden. It stated, “We have lodged a complaint with the police authorities and will offer full cooperation to them throughout the investigation.”
The online ticket broker also urged users to avoid falling for these frauds. Any tickets purchased from unapproved vendors are at the buyer’s risk and can be fraudulent.
Just before the website for the entertainment and ticketing company BookMyShow went up and started selling tickets for the highly anticipated Coldplay performance in Mumbai next year, the platform failed.

BookMyShow indicated that the massive spike in traffic was the cause of the crash and that the platform attempted to provide each fan a fair chance to purchase tickets.
