In a shocking incident in Chennai on Friday evening, Thiru Armstrong, the State President of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), was brutally murdered near his newly constructed home in the Perambur area. According to police sources, Armstrong, aged 47, was conversing with a friend outside his residence when six unidentified assailants on three motorcycles attacked him around 7 PM.
Images from the scene depict a large knife lying on the road where Armstrong was fatally attacked. He was rushed to a nearby private hospital in critical condition but was pronounced dead upon arrival. Senior police officials revealed that four of the six attackers were identified by their clothing, which included T-shirts bearing the logo of a food delivery company, Zomato.
