ChatGPT which stands for Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer is an AI-powered chatbot developed by OpenAI. It was launched on November 30, 2022. It works on the large language model and currently is based on the GPT-3.5 language model.

ChatGPT operates on large amounts of information to generate responses to the queries of its users. It gives a human touch to the responses by considering the prompts and replies as a context in the conversation with the user.

How to use the new feature?

Microsoft made an announcement that at present this feature will be only for web users exclusively by Bing search and has not been rolled out for the application users.

The iOS version of the ChatGPT application was made available for users in the US. it was also launched in other countries, including India. The ChatGPT app for Android is still not available, but OpenAI has pledged to release it as soon as possible for the most popular mobile platforms.

This newly added feature will only be available to some premium users. They will only be able to resolve queries related to current affairs and recent news and have access to updated information.

To enable the feature, the users have to select the Bing extension in the selector under GPT-4. To use the feature in the mobile version, the user has to select Browse with Bing extension by tapping new features in the Settings.

ChatGPT can now See, Hear, and Talk

Recently, OpenAI also added a talking and image feature to the chatbot. These features are a big step towards revolutionising user interaction with the AI-powered chatbot. It will further enhance and advance the technological feature to create a more immersive experience.

With the addition of these features to the Chatbot, the interaction will be more natural and human-like. With this, the user will be able to have back-and-forth real-time active conversations.

The new speaking feature is available to provide services in one of five synthesized voices.

The image feature is another striking feature to use by feeding the chatbot with images and seeking responses. For example, the chatbot will diagnose and tell the user how to fix it just by sharing a picture of a broken electronic gadget or you can send a photo of a painting while you are at an art show, and you can have a real-time engaging conversation with it.

It will enable the tool to be a part of our daily routine.

These striking features will give tough competition to other big players providing AI-powered voice assistance like Meta and Google.

These frequent upgrades and advancements will revolutionise the way people look for information on the web.
