On Monday, November 13, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that the Congress party’s time in power in Chhattisgarh was almost over.
PM Modi also criticized state Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel during his speech at the Vijay Sankalap Maharally in Mungeli, Chattisgarh, citing the contentious Mahadev betting app scandal as justification.
In the alleged Mahadev betting app controversy, Prime Minister Modi asked the Congress to reveal how much money the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh has received.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared in a passionate speech at the election rally in Mungeli, Chhattisgarh, that the timer for the Congress party’s exit from the state has officially started.

I have some inquiries for Congress. The “Mahadev betting app scam” is valued at ₹508 crore, and the investigating agencies have made significant financial gains from it. A close colleague of Chhattisgarh’s chief minister is also incarcerated. The Prime Minister requested the Congress to disclose the amount of money received by the CM in this case.
The time has come to bid those Congress leaders who have embezzled from you for the past five years farewell, according to PM Modi. People in the state are more excited about the ‘bidai’ that Congress will receive from the state. Congress is no longer wanted by the people.
The ED announced last week that a suspect in the purported scam had sent an email stating that the operation’s promoters had given chief minister Bhupesh Baghel bribes of ₹508 crore.
The culprit in the Mahadev Book betting app case, Shubham Soni, later made public by the BJP, claimed to be the owner of the app and to have “proof” that he had already paid Baghel Rs 508 crore. But the chief minister of Chhattisgarh rejected Soni’s claim.
Following the BJP’s election to power, Prime Minister Modi promised to take action against the corrupt in Chhattisgarh.
Modi declared that whenever the BJP takes over Chhattisgarh, measures against corruption would be implemented.
In addition, he charged that the Congress put vote-bank politics ahead of the interests of marginalized populations.
PM Modi claimed that the Congress party was motivated by an unrelenting quest for political wins and that they had repeatedly failed to elevate Dalits, OBCs, and tribal people.
Congress is able to act in whatever way it pleases in an attempt to win over more votes.
Congress alone is to blame for anyone’s poverty in this country, even after so many decades of freedom. Modi referenced the well-known remarks made by the Congress party a few decades prior, in which he claimed that Congress should bear the responsibility if the country’s tribal, OBC, and Dalit populations are still impoverished after decades of the “Garibi Hatao” slogan.
On November 7, the first round of voting for 20 seats in Chhattisgarh came to an end. Elections in the remaining 70 seats are scheduled for November 17.
There will be a vote count on December 3.
