Cillian Murphy to reprise his iconic role of ‘Thomas Shelby’ in ‘Peaky Blinders’ film for Netflix.

A Peaky Blinders Film is soon coming to Netflix with Academy Award Winner Cillian Murphy reprising his role of Thomas Shelby. 

This Award winning series of BBC that ran for six seasons following lives of Peaky Blinders, the Gangsters of Birmingham in the early 20th century returns to Netflix but as a full fledged Film this time, confirmed by the creator and writer Steven Knight.

Tom Harper will be directing the movie who is not new to Peaky Blinders as he directed half of the first season. Steven Knight promises ‘No Holds Barred’ with Full on Peaky Blinders at war.

In a statement Cillian Murphy claimed that Thomas Shelby was’nt done with him and he is very excited to work with Steve and Tom Harper again and dedicated this film as a gift for his fans.

Director Harper himself said that he didn’t know that Thomas Shelby would become such an iconic character but Cillian’s brilliant performance made this character what it is.

Fans expressed their excitement on Social Media to once again see Cillian potraying Tommy Shelby and are eagerly waiting for this film. Additional casting is still under wraps along with Scripting, further details will soon be shared by the makers.
