Cosmetic surgeries or aesthetic surgeries are gaining acceptance recently in the country. Earlier either these were not known by people or not accepted. However, with the growing trends and varied lifestyle this concept has a lot of popularity. It is estimated that cosmetic surgeries have increased by thirty percent in recent decade itself owing to the generation Z. With growing demands and social media presence, masses are becoming way particular about their looks.

In countries like South Korea, such treatments are way more common than in India. But as we move ahead, even India is accepting it making it the fourth largest consumer country of aesthetic procedures.

Many a times these surgeries result botched leading to lifetime issue in physical health. It may cause infections or blood clots. For diabetic or obese people risks may be higher. Sometimes, it may lead to blood loss or a permanent nerve damage, rarely leading to death.
