Virat Kohli was sensational with a century, scoring 103 off 97 balls with six fours and four sixes.
Bangladesh bowlers failed to stop India as the hosts piled up an 88-run partnership for the first wicket. By the end of 20 overs, India was in the driving seat of the match with 135 runs. Indian batters started hitting the bowlers from the first over, making it difficult for the bowlers to build pressure on the batsmen. Except for Rahman and Mahmudullah, who bowled one over, everyone gave away more than 45 runs. Mahmud was the most expensive bowler, with 65 runs in 10 overs.
