Two people were hurt when Dalip Tahil crashed his automobile into an autorickshaw in 2018. In a 2018 DUI case, actor Dalip Tahil received a two-month jail sentence. Tahil was found guilty by a magistrate court based on the testimony of a doctor who testified that the actor had a noticeable alcohol odour and that his pupils were dilated.

Dalip Tahil’s Case
The case of Dalip Tahil’s drunk driving began in 2018. Tahil was being held by Mumbai Police at the time. He was charged with forcing an autorickshaw out of his vehicle. In one car, there was a female passenger who sustained injuries as well. He first attempted to flee, but the road congestion caused by the Ganesh Visarjan processions prevented him. The case went forward, but Tahil was granted bail.
The court handed down the verdict and two-month term on Sunday. Tahil was reportedly unwilling to provide blood samples to the Mumbai Police at the time. Nonetheless, the accident victim’s medical examinations had been mandated by the authorities.

According to sources, Tahil tried to escape after the collision, but in 2018 he became stuck in a traffic jam in Mumbai due to the Ganesh Visarjan procession. The actor was allegedly challenged by the passengers.
The actor allegedly got into a fight with the passengers and shoved them around until Tahil was reportedly brought into jail by the authorities.After making it to Dalip’s car, the passengers got into a fight with him. There was allegedly a heated disagreement that led to Dalip pushing them.
The police were contacted after this event, and Dalip was later taken into custody. The two passengers were identified as Gaurav Chugh, 22, and Jenita Gandhi, 21.
An officer who was speaking about the incident said that Ms. Gandhi suffered a serious jolt to her back and neck as a result of the collision. As Mr. Chugh and Ms. Gandhi got off the autorickshaw, they noticed the automobile was attempting to drive away towards Santacruz. He added that because of the Ganeshotsav immersion processions, the street was congested and Tahil’s automobile was unable to go very far.
Dalip Tahil has not yet responded to or commented on the officer’s statement. Also circulated online was a picture of the actor standing in queue at the police station.
