Darsheel was questioned about whether he believed Aamir Khan did not advance his career after Taare Zameen Par in the interview. The actor completely disagreed and stated his timid nature. He expressed feeling awkward around situations like these.

He reported being asked multiple times if he still keeps in touch with the Ghajini actor whom he affectionately called Aamir uncle. People often ask him to shoot Aamir a text or a call, however, he feels hesitant to do it. He finds it to be a challenge to express his views. Moreover, he believes these things should happen organically.

Then, Darsheel said, he never requested work from Aamir. The best course of action, he declared, is work that leads to greater opportunities. This idea of “tumpe kisi ka haath hai” (You have someone’s backing) is something I have never understood and certainly never anticipated. In fact, since Taare Zameen Par, Aamir has been informed of practically every project I’ve worked on. Most of the time, it’s done so to obtain his blessings for the projects.
