Indian Singer-Actor Diljit Dosanjh recently held a record-breaking concert at BC Place Stadium, Vancouver, Canada. Held on 27th April DIL-LUMINATI was the largest concert held by a Punjabi Singer outside of India, saw the artist perform to a sold-out crowd, with the show selling more than 50,000 tickets. The record was expected to be broken. To add more to the record list Diljit was the first Punjabi artist to hold a concert at BC Place Stadium.

The production of this sold-out concert was nothing short of spectacular. One of the highlights of the evening was when Diljit paid tribute to his roots performing a medley of traditional Punjabi songs. The segment of the shoe not only showcased his versatility but also highlighted the cultural richness of Punjabi music.
The concert was sold-out in a stadium of 54,000 people capacity. As reported by Money Control, the front row seats for the afternoon show, were priced from $482.79 to $713.89.

It was the first date of his Dil- Luminati Concert, will be continuing for several days across North America. The only venue with a capacity close to BC Place is Rogers Centre in Toronto, also known as the SkyDome, so Vancouver’s record is probably here to stay for the time being.
