An interesting encounter with Donald Trump at Town Hall, says Elon Musk. 

Just one day after Donald Trump was found guilty of 34 crimes by the New York jury, X owner Elon Musk announced that X will host a Town Hall event ahead of the country’s November elections. 

CONVICTION OF TRUMP

For the first time, an ex-US president is convicted of a crime. Donald Trump was convicted by the New York Jury of 12 members for his 34 crimes. The case goes back to a time when he illegally influenced the 2016 elections. The entire result was on the Hush Money Case. Besides this, 54 cases remain on the ex-president. Trial dates for the same are yet to be confirmed. If it happens before the elections, it could be the changing leaf for the election results.

TRUMP AND ELON MUSK

The relationship between Trump and Elon has seen a positive direction over time. After Elon took over Twitter and re-launched it as X, he has publicly shown his connections with both Trump and Joe Biden. 

At the same time, Musk has always been vocal about his displeasure with Joe Biden. Trump and Elon have met multiple times to discuss worldly issues which include crypto-currency and the political status of the world. 

After the results by the New York jury were out, Elon came ahead and said, “Indeed, great damage was done today to the public’s faith in the American legal system.”. It highlights the thoughts and personal outtake Elon has over Trump’s case and its connection with the US.

Besides this, there has been talk about Donald Trump considering Musk as an advisor for the White House. This builds on the relationship between the two.

The Town Hall event is an extension to show support for each other. 

PUBLIC APPROACH

The event will be live-streamed by X. The event will also be open to users to comment and ask questions. Making it interactive and honest for the viewers. 

No date has been given for the same. But it is expected to be conducted before the November elections. 

OTHERS AT THE EVENT

The strongest contender opposite Trump has been Joe Biden. An interaction between the two would get the most public attention. However, it is speculated that Joe Biden was asked for this interactive event and he politely declined. After him, the actual confirmation of who will be present at this event is the long-short independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

When the New York Post put out an article about the event, Elon Musk re-twitted over it and replied, “This will be interesting.”.

When this event happens, it is going to be an exciting watch for the world. How it will influence the election result also remains a hanging question in the conversation.
