On September 16, Delhi University announced the allotment and admission schedule for undergraduate programmes in Spot Round I. The total number of confirmed seats is 72,263.
As per the schedule posted on the official website (admission.uod.ac.in), application acceptance for full-time admission will begin at 10 am on September 18 and will close at 11.59 pm on September 19.
Seat allocations will be announced at 3 p.m. September 21st.
All applicants who submitted a General Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG)-2024 application and were not accepted into any college by September 17th are eligible to apply in the first round of admissions.
Candidates have until 11:59 p.m. on September 22 to accept the offer after spots are assigned. It further stated that the online payment deadline for securing a spot is September 24 at 4:59 p.m.
Additionally, based on their category, candidates will only be allowed to select program-college combinations for which there are openings.
Candidates must accept the seat assigned during the qualifying round. Failure to comply with this rule will render them ineligible for admission to Delhi University and they will be barred from the CSAS (UG)-2024 admission process, it said.
Applicants should note that there will be no opportunity for seat upgrade or cancellation during the one-time admission cycle. The headquarters assigned to a specific point is a final one, not a notification that it will not be updated in a series of entry.
Further, as per the notification, the dashboards of all admitted candidates will be locked in a frozen mode and they will not be able to revoke their admission after 5 pm on September 17th.
