After back to back hits in 2023, Bollywood king Shahrukh Khan is back and will be seen in Dunki by the director Raj Kumar Hirani. Will Dunki be able to compete with the early hits Jawaan and Pathan?

Today, on 2nd of November, on Shahrukh Khan’s 58th birthday, the teaser of Dunki is released by the actor for his fans. The teaser gives the idea of the film and as the actor already presented it as a heartwarming story by a heartwarming storyteller. This is the first project of Shahrukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani together. The film is announced to be released on 22nd December, 2023. Dunki is produced by Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. And directed by one of the best and renowned directors, Rajkumar Hirani. Hirani has never had a flop film, in the past years he has served the audience with all the hits and best films such as PK, 3 Idiots, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S and many more. This is going to be the latest film by Rajkumar Hirani after Sanju which came out in 2018.

As we see the teaser, it opens with the song, Badi Doore Aayen sung by Sonu Nigam and composed by Javed Akhtar. This movie is based on patriotism and this opening song is playing a very good role in building the sense and foundation of the storyline. The opening scene shows us 6 people in a desert and one of them is shooted. The comedy-drama film is set in Punjab and it focuses on the issue of the youth who want to migrate to get settled abroad and illegal immigrants.
This movie also starring renowned actors Tapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and Vicky Kaushal. Unlike Pathaan and Jawaan which were action filled movies, Dunki is a more funny and lighthearted film. The teaser introduced Shahrukh Khan as Hardy and other characters are also introduced with their names in the teaser. Boman Irani is seen as a teacher in the teaser. The plot follows the story of a friend group and the desperation to move abroad and leave their own country. This movie is filled with a lot of comedy and laughter.
