However, racism remains a harsh reality for Indians, even in spite of their increasing global presence. Stereotyping can take many different forms; it can be expressed through obvious violence or as hidden as microaggressions. In order to promote a more inclusive world, it is essential that these issues be understood and solutions found.

Whether an Indian travels abroad in search of employment or settles there permanently, racism against Indians abroad is a persistent problem.
