Fighter is another classic of Bollywood. Fighter is an Indian action thriller in Hindi that stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor. Siddhart Anand directed this patriotic film, which was produced by Marflix Pictures and Viacom18 Studios. This film was released on January 25th, the eve of Republic Day. This 250-crore budget Fighter movie has a screen time of 166 minutes.
Vishal-Shekhar composed five songs for the soundtrack album for the film Fighter. The cinematography was done by Satchith Paulose, and the editing of the film was done by Aarif Sheikh.

Plot:
The terrorist group Guruvadi, headed by Azhar Akhtar, has plans to attack India in Srinagar, Kashmir, with a focus on the Indian Air Force and the Srinagar Air Force Station.
Rakesh ”Rocky”, the group captain As part of his task to neutralise the threat, Jai Singh assembles a group of proficient jet pilots known as the “Air Dragons.” The squad consists of Sukhdeep Singh “Sukhi,” Minal Rathore “Minni,” Basheer Khan “Bash,” Sartaj Gill “Taj,” and Shamsher Pathania “Patty,” the squad leader. The squad members become closer throughout training, and Minni starts to sense a love attraction towards Patty. But, Patty’s history haunts him because he lost his fiancée on a previous mission. The group finds out about an Akhtar-organised attack on CRPF soldiers in Pulwama.
Rocky tells Minni that he carries a grudge against Patty for allowing his fiancee, Naina Jai Singh, who is Rocky’s younger sister, to die during a previous rescue effort.
The Pakistani government announced that Taj and Bash would be safely transported back to India. However, while the squad waits for them to arrive, Sukhi informs Patty that Akhtar viciously murdered Bash and has imprisoned a severely injured Taj. Patty ignores orders to join a clandestine expedition because she is determined to save him. After the team infiltrates the hostile zone successfully, Patty kills Akhtar and saves Taj. Finally, Minni and Patty give each other a hug as they rejoice in their triumph.

Development:
When Sidhart Anand was filming War (2019), he narrated the idea of making a big-budget aerial action thriller set against the backdrop of fighter jets. Hrithik Roshan liked the idea, and it was claimed that Siddhart Anand and Hrithik Roshan would reconnect after the film War (2019).
The formal announcement of the Fighter movie was made on June 10, 2021, Hrithik Roshni’s birthday. This is the first entry in the franchise and the first aerial action movie produced in India. The producers of this film are Mamta Anand, Ajit Andhare, Anku Pande, Ramon Chibb, and Kevin Vaz.
Pre-production:
Siddharth Anand and former army soldier and writer Ramon Chibb are the writers of this story. Under Hrithik Roshan’s direction, Anand and his group write the screenplay while the country is in lockdown. Raj Khatri designed the posters for this film. Stunt choreographer SeYeong Oh and action director Sunil Rodrigues were members of Anand’s crew.
Hrithik Roshan underwent training for this film. He went to the Air Force Training Academy in Telangana and the air base there. Even real-life Indian Air Force cadets contributed to the film.
Casting :
Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan were formally revealed in January 2021 as the lead actors for the film Fighter. Later, Anil Kapoor joined the casting in December 2021. Hrithik played Squadron Leader Shamsher “Patty” Pathania, an air force officer in the film. Deepika Padukone portrays Squad Leader Minal “Minni” Rathore. She is an officer in the air force. Later on, the cast was joined by Sanjeeda Saheik, Talat Aziz, Aksahy Oberoi, and Karan Singh Grover.
Filming:
Filming locations for the film Fighter include Hyderabad, Jammu & Kashmir, Mumbai, Assam, and Jammu. Filming began on November 14, 2022, and ended on October 30, 2023.
Post-production :
The post-production phase of the film Fighter commenced in early June. Large-scale computer graphics and visual effects are used in this movie. DNEG handled the visual effects for the picture.

Soundtrack :
Vishal-Shekhar is the composer of the soundtrack for the fighter movie. It features six songs, one of which is emotional and was recorded by T seires. This film’s tracks include “Sher Khul Gaye,” “Ishq Jaisa Kuch,” “Heer Aasmani,” “Dil Banaane Waaleya,” “Mitti,” “Dil Chah Raha Hai,” and “Vande Mataram (The Fighter Anthem)”.

This movie’s teaser was unveiled on December 8, 2023, while the official trailer debuted on January 15, 2024. The Fighter film was released on June 25, 2024. Netflix has the right to stream content digitally.
Box-office :
Fighter’s total worldwide earnings as of January 31, 2024, were ₹216.3 crore, including ₹163.51 crore from India and an additional ₹52.79 crore from outside. The film premiered at number one at New Zealand’s box office.
