After the news that Netflix was partnering with Production I.G for a Terminator anime, there’s been a wait for more details. Finally, at Netflix’s Geeked Week event, the debut teaser for the anime was unveiled, showcasing the title but not revealing much else.
For those not in the know, the renowned animation studio Production I.G has contributed to some of the most iconic anime productions, ranging from the original Ghost in the Shell film to recent works like the Star Wars Visions anthology. As for Terminator, which surprisingly marks the franchise’s first venture into animation and currently lacks an official title, the eight-episode series will be helmed by director Masashi Kudo, renowned for his work on the Bleach franchise. The writing and show running duties will be undertaken by Mattson Tomlin, known for his work on Project Power and Mother/Android.
