He said that the interview would be unscripted and there will be no limits on the matters and he exclaimed that the interactions will be highly entertaining.
X here aims to provide the Former President a political opportunity to interact with the users in the run up to 2024 elections as it gives him the social platform to interact with the millions of voters directly. This also provides an opportunity for X which heavily depends on politics.
Even as the users await the conversation, Musk on X said that they’re running some tests to see the number of participants in live interaction.

EU has no business:
Steven Cheung who’s the spokesperson of the Trump Campaign also asked the EU to not meddle in the US elections and they should mind their own business. He also termed the EU (European Union) as the enemy of free-speech and they have no right to dictate how they are supposed to campaign.
Why was Trump banned:
Donald Trump was permanently banned from Twitter in January 2021.His permanent ban came after the Capitol Hill Violence which had shook the entire US. The decision of Twitter had come after two tweets which were posted by him. The twitter said that those tweets had to be read in the context of broader events of the country. The social media giant also said that the statements of the President can be used to mobilize different users which include incitement to incite violence. The first tweet of the then President was about his supporters and second was that he won’t attend the inauguration of Joe Biden as president. After huge violence followed, Twitter banned his accounts permanently.
Trump created his own social media platform:
Even as the Former President was banned from the Social media platforms, he created his own social media platforms known as ‘Truth Social’ in early 2022. Even though his accounts were reinstated recently, he hasn’t been interacting that frequently.
Musk’s growing inclination towards Trump:
Elon Musk used to describe himself as a democrat a few years ago, however, he endorsed the candidature of Trump as President after there was an attempted assassination attack on him at the rally which was held last month.
