Govinda was recently spotted talking to his long lost friend director David Dhawan at Ramesh Taurani’s Diwali Party and days after the party the bollywood’s most talented actor Govinda confirmed that he and Director David Dhawan have patched up finally after so many years of differences and togetherness.
Govinda was recently talking to Bombay Times when he revealed as to why has he stepped out for a Bollywood party after nearly a long two decades i.e twenty years. Govinda expressed his happiness after knowing that his fans still want him and David Dhawan to be working together and making great films as those times when the duo was a super hit jodi.
He expressed that it is indeed very heart warming and is purely the love of his fans for him to express this and want to see more of his films with David Dhawan.
He also added further that this was the second time the duo were meeting at the party and the patch up had already happened long back.
He said that the Diwali bash was purely for enjoyment and when they both met each other it was purely a good vibe and lots of good food. There were no film talks at all and they simply enjoyed the party talking to each other and enjoying lavishing food.
He mentioned that there is indeed no use or point in raking up the past so one should not mull over it and that is how he concluded and also confirmed the patch-up between him and the famous director David Dhawan.
Govinda and his Bollywood parties
Govinda also added that he preferred attending Ramesh Taurani’s party because it was a bollywood industry party and not a group party which is what and why he preferred attending after twenty years.
He further added that Ramesh Taurani is a very good person and a close friend and also that Bollywood parties over a period of time became group parties which meant that if you do not belong to any particular group then you arent invited to that party and that is what the Bollywood’s talented actor did not like at all.
He added that when you aren’t visible or present at such parties then you are considered to be anti-social. He said that he wasn’t anti-social at all but the groupism held him back from attending such parties and said that industry parties are more preferable as it gives visibility and networking with one and all.
He said that in the era of 1990’s it was often considered that Govinda, Shakt Kapoor,Karishma Kapoor and David Dhawan were a group. However he clarified that it was nothing of this sort and no such groupism ever existed back then,it was all just rumour.
