1. Speeding SUV took away the life on road of golf course, Gurugram phase 2
On the last sunday morning, around 5:30 am to 6:00 am Akshat with his friends got stuck with a horrific accident in DLF phase 2, Gurugram. Akshat and pradyuman both were heading towards meeting the biker’s community in the cyber hub when the bike on which Akshat was riding bumped into Kuldeep’s car coming from the wrong side. The collision between the SUV and bike was so awful that some parts of the bike flew in the air. The victim was taken to Narayan hospital where he was declared dead by the doctors. The accused got out of the car only with the intervention of the residents of DLF.

Akshat (victim), a young diligent son of Rekha Garg residing in Dwarka. He graduated from ITI and was supporting his family financially. Kuldeep Thakur (accused) is from Madhubani , Bihar. It’s worth noting that Kuldeep wasn’t carrying his driver’s license with him at that time. Eye witness Pradyuman Kumar, got the footage of the crash captured in his GoPro. But the evidence was not collected by the police for three days straight. Although as per the visuals and the statement of Pradyuman in the complaint, Biker was seen wearing all the safety equipment from gloves, helmet and preventive gears, he was dead on spot.

Rekha Garg, the mother of the deceased, said to ANI,” why an immediate bail was granted to the accused? This shows the failure of law in the country”.”I want justice for my son”, added Rekha in an interview. She is still In full hope of strict actions by the court. Meanwhile the FIR was lodged by the police on Sunday under the (BNS) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and with sections including 281, 166,106(1),324(4) of Motor Vehicle Act.
2. Ignorant Authorities
ASI Sandeep stated they have observed 16,000+ challans for driving on the wrong side in the previous month only. Despite knowing the fragrant violation of the traffic rules by some individuals of the society, no concrete measures have been taken by the executives to address the problem, resulting in the continuous breach of rules and death of the innocents.
But no change in the perception of people even after watching thousands of road rash cases. Still speeding is creating danger for others on the road. Not only the citizens but the Government is equally responsible for these kinds of incidents. Half of the cases in the court can sum up to nil if strict actions by the authorities will be made. Laws and regulations are not being amended by the officials due to which innocents are losing their lives.
