Happiness , something being a kind of source to run an energetic life ,which is mainly based on oneself  Situation , Surrounding  , family and friends . But not only these are the reasons . We aren’t much  aware that our body plays a vital role in our Happiness !

There are hormones in our body that can lift up our mood , reduce stress and improve our overall being hence are called Happy Hormones which includes Serotonin , Dopamine , Oxytocin , Endorphins. Certain daily  habits can help for release of these Hormones and lead a Happy life.

Happy Hormones 

Dopamine

 A neurotransmitter significant for Brain’s reward system which seeks for temporary instant satisfaction

Serotonin

This Hormone is to regulate mood , appetite , learning ability , memory 

Oxytocin

Love Hormone ,essential for childbirth ,Breastfeeding and a healthy relationship. Helps to promote trust , bond in relationships 

Endorphin

It’s a natural pain reliever which can be produced from eating , working out or having sex

HABITS to release HAPPY HORMONES

Meditation gives a kind of relaxation helps to increase attention , awareness and detach from Distraction

Active body exercise can increase production of feel good hormone called Endorphin and also decrease the feel of stress

Expressing Gratitude

Gratitude is a great emotion that helps for the betterment of  mental health  which increases Serotonin levels , the hormone linked to feelings of well-being and happiness . People who journal Gratitude experience more positive emotions

Socialization 

Societal Connection like meeting loved ones , having a conversation or even hugging someone helps to produce Oxytocin called , Love Hormone which is essential for emotional well being .

A quality Sleep 

Overall health mainly depends on the level of Sleep we give for ourselves. Doctors recommend to have 7-9 hours of sleep which produces the required  Serotonin that enhances happiness. To have quality sleep avoid Caffeine before bed , detach screen time , and try to maintain a consistent sleep routine

Balanced Diet

What we consume directly influences our mood. Foods rich in tryptophan like nuts , eggs  , milk , peanuts which increases production of Serotonin . Omega 3 fatty acids rich in fish and flaxseeds increases dopamine.

Do what do you love 

Doing what you love may be painting , gardening , writing etc  will increase dopamine, a hormone related to reward of pleasure
