The Congress party’s Haryana section convened in Sonepat on the weekend to talk about campaign strategies. Hooda’s Initiative “HARYANA MAANGE HISAB”.
Speaking at a state-level party meeting in Sonipat, Hooda stated that party activists would additionally apprise the public about the policies and announcements made by the Congress and solicit feedback from the general population regarding the party’s platform. He also added that the fact that the India Alliance won 10 of the 13 seats was a sign of things to come, which was more bad news for the BJP.
Congress workers will go out into the public and inform them that the BJP has elevated the state to the top of the nation in terms of unemployment, crime, drug addiction, and misery.
Prior to 2014, the state led the nation in terms of per capita income, per capita investment, employment, sportspeople, and welfare programs. The exploitative Kaushal Nigam policy, which this government has put into place, forbids youth from obtaining permanent employment, positions, promotions, merit, transparency, or reservations.
According to him, the BJP is completing SC and OBC reservation through these initiatives.
State Congress head Udai Bhan, who spoke at a press conference here alongside erstwhile Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda, stated that the campaign will draw attention to the shortcomings of the state government.
Deepak Babria, in-charge of the Haryana Congress, expressed gratitude to the party’s members for winning all five of the state’s Lok Sabha seats without the need for any kind of organisation.
The BJP’s caste politics were overthrown by the Congress. They should learn from the Lok Sabha elections that people desire progress rather than hatred. People spanning all castes will join us in our struggle for the assembly polls. In the assembly elections, we are running against the BJP with the slogan “BJP ko ek dhakka aur do,” he continued.
Workers and leaders will reveal the BJP’s wrongdoings: Hooda
Retired head of state, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, declared that as part of the campaign, all workers and leaders will bring the BJP’s wrongdoings to the attention of the general people.Party activists will ask the public for feedback on the ideology of the party and tell the general population about the statements made by Congress.
Congressmen will inform the people that Haryana, up until 2014, was the best state in the nation in terms of jobs, per capita investment, per capita income, sports, and social programs. Under BJP leadership, the state has now risen to the top in terms of unemployment, crime, drug addiction, and suffering, he continued.
Introducing the ‘chargesheet’ as opposed to BJP’s ten-year administration in the state, Bhan claimed the party government had failed in creating jobs, upholding law and order, and safeguarding farmers, among other areas.
Bhan asserted that the number of unfilled government positions in Haryana has risen to two lakh, with 60,000 of those positions in the field of education and 20,000 respectively in law enforcement and health sectors. He continued by saying that amid the current BJP government, there have been a number of scams and document leaks.
Bhan claims that with an increasing crime rate, Haryana is currently the most hazardous state. According to him, atrocities against Dalits have increased in the state, whereas assaults on women are on the rise.
According to the Congress representative, the drug problem has increased under BJP administration, impacting the youth, and traders in the state receive extortion calls because criminals have no fear.
He revealed that only ‘lathis’ were given to farmers during this administration, and that 750 farmers lost their lives in the protests against the now-repeated farm regulations. According to Bhan, a number of groups, including sarpanches and employees, protested in favour of their demands but were put down with force.
BJP betrayed Haryana: Hooda
According to Birender Singh, the BJP has betrayed the confidence of the people of the state and is ignorant of the political and social dynamics of the region.
In addition to exposing the shortcomings of the government, our leaders and workers will solicit public comments through this statewide effort beginning on July 15 and include them into our poll manifesto, stated Bhupinder Hooda.
Udai Bhan, the president of the Haryana Congress, announced that the party will pose 15 questions to the BJP about the nation’s highest unemployment rate, the growth in drug misuse, and the reason why farmers’ income has not doubled. On Sunday, a van was flagged down by Congress leaders. The leaders will ask everyone to place their suggestions for the party’s manifesto in a box placed in the vain, and it will cover every assembly section.
Reunited with the grand old party earlier this year, Singh had joined the BJP in 2014 after severing four decades of ties with the Congress.
